Grammarly and Grammatical Errors Reduction: A Case for Non-Native English Teachers’ Professional Learning

Grammar has long been a source of aggravation for anyone learning second language, not just English language learners, but also non-native teachers. People can now employ Grammarly to correct their grammar mistakes, owing the sophistication modern technology. The debate over whether teachers use as part professional development is ongoing. purpose this study was identify grammatical errors made by when writing narrative texts before and after checked them. participants in qualitative were 24 from Teacher Association Buleleng Regency Bali, Indonesia. This employed surface approach taxonomy analyze interviewed elicit factors that contribute errors. found most common type misformation error, specifically alternating form both Grammarly-corrected Grammarly-uncorrected texts.
